New Trends in Men’s Designer Clothes
After decades of predictable patterns, styles and trends in men’s designer clothing, a revolution of sorts came full circle, and with it, a new focus on updating the “same old, same old” men all over the world had become accustomed to. With designers such as Ralph Lauren, Lyle & Scott, Henri Lloyd and more recently, Pretty Green, there’s now reason to rejoice with each season’s new arrivals; and isn’t it about time?
Even the predictable jeans have seen new styles, dyes, cuts and fits. Men now can select a more flared leg, a deeper blue or a relaxed fit; further, the stronger sex now has as many designers to select from as women have always enjoyed. Men’s jumpers are easily located with V necks or crew necks, solids or patterned fabrics and any number of options one could dream up.
But it’s more than that. It’s more than more designers, options and shades of blues; it’s about acknowledging, once and for all, that men take their appearances and styles as seriously as their female counterparts. No longer is anything assumed, now, men define their own looks and they don’t take too kindly to others determining what that look is. Whether it’s a great pair of chinos for the weekend or an Italian handmade suit that’s appropriate in the most elegant settings, husbands, brothers and sons are now shouldering the decisions about thread colors and they’re running with what makes them feel better about themselves. Tired of feeling left out of the decision making process, the new trend is to leave the missus at home while the newly inspired male takes to coordinating his own socks and ties. And guess what? He’s doing it as well, and dare we say even better, than many women could have done.
The winds of change we’re feeling in the fashion world is nothing more than fashion-conscious men taking their places front and center in the menswear department.

Men’s Clothing Is In
For the longest time ever it was very hard to be a fashionable well dressed man. The fashion industry always concentrated on women’s fashions and women’s clothing trends and accessory trends. Men were always an afterthought at best and men’s clothing was always restricted to a few pieces or a few outfits in a designers collections. It was also restricted to a few major designers and a few major labels who just put out the same kind of clothes every year for fashion season after fashion season and to see these clothes on the catwalk or at a fashion week even the most discerning fashion watcher would have a hard time telling you what the changes were between seasons.
This was not an easy situation for men because as the world we live in; society put more of an emphasis on presentation. The first impression all men are feeling is an even greater need to look good and dress well. This was very difficult because of the lack of great clothes available to men. The designers would argue quite rightly that most men were not wiling to experiment with new fashions and new trends and were much more conservative in their dressing and their buying habits of men’s clothing. Due to this it has been hard for designers to innovate and to push men’s fashion forward.
The last few years though have seen a sea change in men’s clothing and in men’s fashion. There has been the rise of a new crop of designers who want to make stylish and fashionable clothes for men that are every bit as on the cutting edge of fashion as women’s clothing. There has simultaneously been the rise of the new man who takes a lot of care of the way he looks and the way he dresses. The man who is liable to spend as much on beauty products, grooming and on clothing and accessories for him as any woman would. This new breed of man has been called a metro sexual by many who coined the term to describe a famous footballer who was the person who started the trend.
Whichever way you look at it, men’s fashion is quickly coming into its own. It is even catching up at an astounding pace with the world of women’s fashion. Today the well dressed man has access to a large number of designer labels and a wide range of styles and even price ranges and which he can buy great clothing and accessories for himself.

Tall Women’s Clothing Trends for Fall
As a tall woman, I have struggled my whole life with fashion trends. Many of the fads look ridiculous on my tall stature. However, I love to look trendy without looking like I have tried too hard. Here are some of the current fashion trends for fall that I can incorporate to look great with my height.
1. Grey is the new black of the season. Grey pants, grey tall jeans or a grey shirt are the foundation pieces for any tall women’s fall wardrobe.
2. Texture is really hot this season. Get some large handbags and large purses with lots of texture. Some of my favorites are the new quilted handbags in bold colors, animal printed bags and belts and shiny items. Play up your accessories with lots of texture, but remember to keep the patterns big to balance out your tall proportions.
3. There are many women’s tall jeans on the market this fall. Two of the hottest trends are straight leg tall jeans and wide leg tall jeans. They look hot on just about any figure- whether you are tall and thin or a little on the heavy side. If you get these jeans in gray, you will be a “Tall Fashionista”.
4. Bold graphic prints are still in style for fall, which is great news for tall women. Graphic prints can be found everywhere and most of them are in large patterns. Large patterns are key, as they look great on tall women. Small patterns will make you look out of balance, so avoid them.
